Katrina was born April 7th, 5:33 p.m. after an emergency C-Section. She weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long. I went into the hospital that morning to be induced being 6 days overdue. Labor progressed really slow and my contractions were not very strong, even on full pitocin. She was double effaced, her hand was sticking out by her head. Each time they checked, her hand was sticking out further. After 10 hours, the heart beat started to drop. The umbilical cord started coming out also, causing it to get pinched up next to her head. Within minutes, they had a nurse on the bed holding the cervix away from the cord as I was rushed into the operating room, and a Cesarean was performed. 
Here is the proud father. They got Katrina out so fast that he got in there just after she was born. One of the nurses said she was amazed how fast they got her out once they got me into the room.

Grandma Larsen was Katrina's first visitor.
