First grade field trip to Discovery Gateway
Friday I got to accompany Aaron on a field trip to Discovery Gateway. I had never been there before. It was a lot of fun. The kids had a lot of fun playing and pretending.
This is the magnet table. It was fun to build shapes and structures.
Aaron built this house shape.
This was a digging box. It is filled with cork pieces. The cork got everywhere and stuck to the kids cloths.
These pictures are out of order. We got to sit on the very last seat in the bus.
This is our group.
Aaron liked climbing on the horse. They played with the "hay bales". They stacked the hay bales up, fed the horse, loaded the truck, and had a lot of make believe time.

Central Roundup
Every year the school holds it's annual school "cowboy roundup". There are fun games, an auction and our favorite, pony rides. It is to benefit the PTA, of course. The owner of the horses is a freind of Faith's. She has gone to their home to ride horses.
Audrey loves the horses, and wants to ride them many times.
Kiersten also loves the horses, and this year does not need so much help.
Aaron is super exited.

Beauty and the Beast
Kenzie played the captain in the 6th grade play "Beauty and the Beast"
Kiersten loved crawling up and down the stage steps during rehersal.
Kenzie dancing with one of the princesses in an opening scene.
Kenzies dance
Grandma and Kenzie after the play. I really enjoyed watching Kenzie perform and the kids did a really good job performing the play. There is a lot of talent in the 6th grade.

Halloween
Halloween was a very busy day. After getting 5 kids off to school, four of them in costumes, I got the little girls dressed up in their costumes and went to the Elementary for the Halloween Parade. They had us all sit in the Gym. The kids marched in and up and down through each isle. I video taped my kids, so I didn't get any pictures. Then we went to the store to get candy for trick or treaters. When we got back, I fed the baby, did some dishes, fixed dinner for later and got Audrey some Lunch. Aaron came home from preschool, and was all exited. We got everyone cleaned back up and dressed and we headed back to the school to help with Faith's class Halloween party. It was a lot of fun. After school, we waited out front for the kids to get out. Faith invited a friend along, and we picked Brady up and went to the Pleasant Grove Rec center, where they had a city trunk or treat. Jack Sparrow brought the black pearl!
Aaron dressed as a "Power Ranger".
After the city trunk or treat, we headed home, ate dinner and returned Faiths friend Kyrah to her parents. Got Michael, and then we headed to the ward trunk-or-treat. Logan Dressed as a ninja. I'm not sure what Michael was. He had tatoo sleeves, and a bandana. Kenzie didn't dress up, although I made him a ninja costume, he decided he did not want to wear it.
After the ward trunk-or-treat my mom took the kids to her neiborhood to trick-or-treat. I changed diapers, nursed Kiersten, and went over to meet the kids and walk with them. While we were out, a neibor of my mom's told us about a haunted train ride another neibor was doing. We decided that the kids had plenty of candy, so we got back in the van and went to Anderson's. It was a really great and professional setup. I couldn't believe they did it for free. they had 2 trains running, and it rode around a 5 acre or so lot, through spooky tunnels, and between trees. There were lots of spooky kids to jump out and scare the riders. Audrey stared crying, and ended up on my lap. It was better than that spook alley I went to when I was single.
Audrey and Kiersten were Fairies. I forgot to put their wings on them. I made their costumes also.

First Day of Preschool
"I got my backpack"
Aaron's School Bus

Aaron was very exited for school to start. Here, he is having free time, and playing with blocks and tinker toys.
Aaron painted his hand and made a print on a paper next to mommys handprint.
Aaron loved riding the tricycles around the playground. He stopped and let another little boy ride in the back. They took turns riding the trike.
It is Aarons turn to ride!

Hope of America
Kenzie was in the Hope of America Concert this year.
It was performed in the mariott center at BYU.
It was really fun to see all the kids performing the songs. I really enjoyed the performance.
Kenzie is in the middle section in the top white stripe.
I tried to zoom in, but I was too far away to get a clear shot.
