Jim and I took the four younger kids to the library to see Santa.

Eagle Court of Honor

The Sunday after thanksgiving we held an eagle court of honor for Kenzie and 4 other boys in the ward who recently earned their eagles.

2nd grade field trip

The second grade went up to the bingham canyon copper mine. Less than a

mile from the entrance the bus broke down. The parents all had to ride up separately and we waited for more than an hour for the district to get a new bus, and send it up to pick the kids up, then bring them up to the mine. It cut their time at the mine in half. They ate their lunches while they waited for the bus. This was the first time I remember coming up here. It was neat to see.
They have a museum that showed different machines, and tools they used. They showed copper products, and other neat things. The kids finally got up there and got to look around.
This is one of the tires they use on their trucks. They are huge!
